1) Hours of sale of alcohol is prohibited (This is very new rule, May 2013)

10.00 pm - 06.00 am

Prohibited the sale of alcohol to people under the age of 18.


2) Smoking is prohibited in all areas covered.


3) Possession of drug consumption in Turkey is considered a criminal offense shall be tried, and heavy penalties.


4) Gamble (roulette, poker, black jack, creaps, barboutte, slott) is prohibited. There is a big fines and jail sentences. Gambling is free only in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

5) Turkey's religion is Islam and Turkish people don't eat pork, ham. All the animals are cut according to Islamic. Only large and expensive restaurants pork sold in supermarkets.


6) The Islamic prophet. Muhammad and the Qur'an, the holy book of Islam will never be disrespectful to the ground can not be. Are always kept in the top of the Turks in their homes.


7) Turkish flag is very important and valuable for all Turks.  Never see the Turkish flag, place or daily dresses.


8) Never be disrespectful to the founder of the Republic of Turkey, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk

9) Turkey hasn't got ticket control in daily public transports's inside because transport is very cheap but all people use akbil (electronic card) or electronic ticket.


10) Working hours is 09.00 - 17.00  Lunch break from 12:30 to 14:00 respectively.


11) Official establishments weekend work (Banks..)


12) Female employees are forbidden to wear headscarves in official places,


13) Female students to wear headscarves in schools is prohibited,


13) Prohibited without a license to carry weapons


14) Shopping centers and domestic animals is forbidden to enter any kind of weapon.


15) Never insulting a public official can not be (Police..)
